The core Updraft team are the directors, Phil Hartwick, Belinda Bryant and Shaun Sheldrake. We have a national network of skilled team coaches and facilitators we draw upon when required.
Phil Hartwick
Phil is driven by a passion to make workplaces stronger. First as a manager and then over many years as a leadership and team coach, he has engaged with a wide range of leaders and teams. From this, Phil has experienced the impact of high and poorly functioning teams – both on the organization and on the team members.
Over the last decade, Phil has worked to develop and then continuously improve the tools and systems to support teams to achieve a step change in their performance. In 2014, he partnered with Belinda and Shaun to create Updraft.

Belinda Bryant
Belinda’s first career as an international mergers and acquisitions lawyer gave her insights into many different organisations and their effectiveness operationally and at senior leadership levels. She has used these insights to help leaders gain fresh perspectives, develop self-awareness and lift performance.
Belinda is passionate about helping individuals and teams grow, and with this focus has created robust and proven leadership programmes and team coaching tools and processes. People comment on her warmth and ability to quickly establish rapport and communicate effectively with people at all levels of the organizations she works with.

Shaun Sheldrake
Shaun’s background in human resources and learning and development gives him a deep appreciation of what helps individuals and leaders succeed in rapidly changing business environments. He brings creative ideas and marries these with his knowledge of technology applications and teaching methods to engage leaders and teams to drive change and lift performance.
By effectively distilling the essence of the client’s needs Shaun creates scalable practical tools that users find engaging, effective and easy to use. His most recent work has included the creation of leadership and team toolkits, which have included animations videos and other collateral.
